Laurent Mignon

Laurent Mignon, aged 53, has been Chief Executive Officer of Natixis since May 2009. He is a member of the Groupe BPCE Management Board since 2009. Laurent Mignon is Chairman of credit insurance group Coface and of Natixis Investment Managers, as well as Lead Director of Peter J. Solomon in New York. He is also member of the Board at specialty chemicals group Arkema.

A graduate of Paris business school HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales) and of the Stanford Executive Program, he held various positions over a period of more than ten years at Banque Indosuez, from the trading floor to investment banking, before joining Schroders Bank in London in 1996. He moved to French insurer AGF in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed member of the Executive Committee in 1998 and subsequently Deputy CEO in charge of Banque AGF, AGF Asset Management and AGF Immobilier (real estate) in 2002. He then became Deputy CEO in charge of Life Insurance, Financial Services and Credit Insurance in 2003, and later CEO and Chairman of the Executive Committee in 2006. From mid 2007 to 2009, Laurent Mignon was Managing Partner at Oddo & Cie.
